What Is Cornerstone Youth?
Cornerstone Youth (CY) is the youth group of Cornerstone Presbyterian Community Church. As of 2026, CY now has three campuses that meet across Sydney on a Friday night.
At CY our vision is to reach out to teenagers, make disciples and build a biblical community to the glory of God.

What Happens on a Typical CY Night?

Praise Time (7 - 8pm)
We kick off Friday Nights with a mixture of:
Group Time (8pm - 9:15pm) Then we spend some time getting to know each other in groups. We open God's word and share about how it affects our lives, then finish up with fellowship over food! |

Sharing in each other's lives in a gospel-shaped community.

Taking the Gospel out through word and deed.

After working as an Early Childhood Teacher for a few years, Ruth did Ministry Training Scheme (MTS) with St Pauls Carlingford and completed a Bachelor of Theology at Moore Theological College.
Ruth loves being able to disciple and train the female youth leaders at CY and also loves decorating with fairy lights at any chance she gets! Ruth usually orders soy flat whites. |
After serving on the CY team for 5 years, Matt decided to join the Youth Worker Team so that he can devote more time and energy to CY. He is currently enrolled at Christ College, studying ministry and theology.
Matt loves the opportunity at CY to invest into the lives of youth and youth leaders alike. In his spare time he also enjoys playing frisbee, cooking, and eating with friends. |
